Topify lets you manage your Twitter followers via email

Topify is a new service that replaces the email notification you receive from a new Twitter follower, with a visually enhanced email.

The email includes more information like their full user profile and last updates, so you can decide whether you want to follow them back or not.

If you decide to follow them back, all you need to do is reply to the email.

If you are a power Twitter user, you will understand how how much time it takes when managing your followers. Topify is a great time-saver and facilitates the flow of managing and interacting with new followers.

At the time of writing Topify is still in Beta so you will have to request an invite here.. my invite came through almost straight away.

Now login to Topify and enter your Twitter username and Twitter password,

Once you have logged in, just verify your email address is correct as this is where Topify notifications will be sent to.

Also take note of your Topify Address, as this is the address you will need to enter into your Twitter account,

Now login to your Twitter account and click on Settings > then on the Account tab

In the Email field enter your new Topify email address,

Done!

That is all that is needed to setup Topify.

With Topify you can follow back your new Twitter follower with one click right from your email inbox.

When you receive a new follower email notification, decide whether you want to follow back and click <Reply>,

Then click <Send>,

Topify will then send you a confirmation message,

Topify has an easy way to answer direct messages right from your email inbox.

After you are sent a direct message you will receive an email alert in your inbox with the message,

All you have to do is open the email.. enter your reply.. and click Send,

Topify will then send you a confirmation that your message has been delivered,

Twitter has just become a lot easier!
