Social Media Username Availability
If you regularly use the same username when you signup to various social media sites, then wouldn’t it be good if you could check to see which sites have that username available?
Chances are there is someone else out there who is going to register the same name you are thinking of.
A couple of good websites are namechk.com and knowem.com, which do just that.
Just enter your username to see if it is available.
Very handy tools if you want to snap-up your own name or business name.

I think that this idea is great in theory. However, when using namechk.com three different social media websites showed a username as available, but when I checked on the website itself they are actually unavailable. Any suggestions?
