TweetBackup is a free backup service that allows you to backup you Twitter tweets.

This type of service is very useful if you know you have tweeted some greats links sometime previously but can’t remember what they were.

The only thing that the folk at TweetBackup require you to do is follow them (@tweetbackup) on Twitter.. if you don’t they will delete your account.

To get started you will first need to signup using your Twitter account,

Presently there are only up to 3200 posts archived which is due to this Twitter bug (taken from the TweetBackup FAQ).

That’s all it takes to backup your Twitter tweets!

Very simple and very quick.. especially useful if you need to get your hands on that tweet that you know you sent, but just can’t remember what exactly it was.
